Achim Steiner, UNDP Administrator, presented an enlightening LSE Ideas Lecture on “Critical Partnerships for Sustainable Development” chaired by Baroness Minouche Shafik, LSE Director. He called for a seismic shift in the finance ecosystem, laying out how the private and public sector can make meaningful changes in their practices to truly achieve the SDGs and eradicate SDG-washing with the UNDP SDG Impact Standards. He also highlights the imbalance of capital between the developed  and developing world and how the SDG Investor Maps can help redress it. The lecture is now available to watch here.
